Radiator FYI
You've heard about high performance sport radiators and aluminum radiators. You know that Griffin radiators are used in race cars, hot rods, and street racers. But why? What is the big deal about aluminum radiators?...
 Radiator

Your Saturn relay radiator and cooling system may need some attention. Saturn radiator leaks can be a common problem but don't necessarily require a new Saturn Relay automotive radiator. Replacing a leaking radiator hose can be fairly simple on most cars. Before you attempt to replace or repair the leaking hose, make sure that both ends of the leaking hose are easily accessed. On some automobiles, the hoses are tucked away tighly and this task might be better left to a professional mechanic.

The steps are as follows: 1. Turn off the engine as soon as you suspect a leaky hose to keep the engine from overheating. 2. Determine which hose it is that is leaking and where the leak is coming from and let the engine cool for no less than twenty minutes before beginning work on the cooling system. 3. Place a bucket or pan on the ground to catch the old used coolant. 4. Loosen the clamps at both ends of the hose you are replacing with a screwdriver. 5. Remove the hose by twisting, pulling or with a utility knife if the hose won't budge. 6. Remove the hose clamps form the old hose and slide them onto the new hose. 7. Attach the new hose and tighten the hose clamps. 8. Refill the radiator and coolant reservoir with a 50-50 mixture of water and antifreeze. 9. Run the engine without the radiator cap until the engine warms up. Keep it running until both the lower and upper hoses feel warm to "burp" the cooling system and allow air bubbles to escape. 10. Inspect the hose clamps for leakes and tighten if necessary. 11. Replace the radiator cap. 12. After driving, check the coolant level to ensure there are no leaks.
